Build Information

Working with trades

Much consideration has gone into choosing the trades we work with. After all, we put our name to their work. Whether this be for tiling, cabinetry or painting. We have agreements with our trades that they will commit to the expected quality, timeframe and cost of our builds, delivering you the product you expect. It is our preference to not use trades that we haven't established a working relationship with. However, we understand on occasion there will be instances where our clients prefer to use a particular trade. For example, they may be a qualified tradesman themselves. In this instance, we are open to discussing it with you.

Access to site

We endeavour to always make you feel involved in the construction of your home or investment. However, it is important to remember this is a construction site with many trades often working in with one another at any given time. They are experienced in doing so, and know the varying risks and safety procedures to ensure nobody is harmed on site. The most obvious reason we cannot allow you constant access on site is for your safety. Of course, if you would like to walk through your build, we will be happy to accomodate and have scheduled site meetings with you throughout the construction.

Pricing structure

We appreciate the significant financial investment you are making in us and we promise to have an open and transparent fee structure with you. We will work through our price proposal and subsequently, our fixed price contract to ensure you understand the claim stages and inclusions. We want you to feel confident to proceed. When comparing our price proposal against other quotes, please keep in mind that these prices can vary due to differing quality of trades, grades of materials and standard of inclusions.

Length of construction

Depending on the size and scope of works, we aim to complete a build anywhere between seven to ten months. Of course, at times a build will take longer due to design complexities and project scale. Once we have your working drawings finalised, we will be able to give you a realistic timeline of completion. We appreciate that many of our clients will have made different housing arrangements during the build therefore promise to provide realistic updates to help with planning.

Financing your build

Financing your build is arguable the most important component of your homeownership. Understanding your loan options with the most suitable lender will have an impact on your long-term financial stability. This is why we recommend using a mortgage broker. We have an established working relationship with a local mortgage broker who will work with you in securing your finance. With more than twenty years experience, they will assist you no matter what your personal circumstance is and access to more than fifty financial institutions, they will choose a lender that is offering you the most suitable product. If you would like to book a consultation, please contact us and we will provide you with all the necessary details.
